Our
Story
Happy Goat Lucky Acres was established in 2018 with only a handful of goats. Today, I have 26 miniature goats! I had decided to share my love of goats with the community by starting a goat yoga business after seeing the success of other similar businesses in the country. Goats stole my heart after unexpectantly bringing home some sick goats from an auction. Experiencing how much joy these animals brought me had inspired me to open the business and share them with the community. I returned to school to earn a degree in Psychology in hopes that I can implement more therapeutic practices with the goats in the future. I am also passionate about helping those that struggle with mental illness and chronic illnesses. In 2020, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, so I rely heavily on the support of my family to continue on with the dream and vision I have for Happy Goat Lucky Yoga. Despite the struggle, I feel it only further fuels my passion for wanting to provide a fun and inclusive way to provide health benefits to the community. I am currently trying to downsize the farm to be more manageable and this means potentially lessening the services I can provide with the goats. These goats have been literal life savers for me and I see them as family, so I am hopeful I can find new ways to provide for them while also giving back to the community. Thank you for taking the time to read about Happy Goat Lucky Acres and its story!
